Retreats

A retreat is a positive disruption of our ordinary habitual life, whether a day, a weekend, a week or more. It is a chance to step out of routine, simplify our life, and focus on our meditation and other practices, as well as just enjoying some peace and quiet in the company of like-minded people.

We run day retreats and the occasional weekend retreat, sometimes at the centre and sometimes in a rural location. Keep your eye on the calendar for the next opportunity.

Retreats centres we recommend

There are several excellent Triratna retreat centres, some for men, some for women, some that are mixed/variable, all of which cater for different levels of experience:

Taraloka: for women: in Shropshire

Vajraloka: men and some mixed: in North Wales, meditation-focused

Dhanakosa: varied programme: Scotland

Rivendell: very varied programme: Sussex

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it very interesting. I found meditating as a group very useful.
